本作は、聖王国という幻想的な世界を舞台にした物語です。かつて女神が作り出した導きの光を起源として誕生したと言われているこの王国は、長きにわたる平和な時代を築き、繁栄を遂げてきました。
しかし、その平和な世の中にも、人間の闇が暗い影を落としていました。裕福になり奢ってしまう者、落ちぶれて悪事を働く者、平和な世に慣れて危機感を失う者…。このような闇が原因で引き起こされる事件が、平和な世の中でも発生してしまうのです。
そして、聖王国歴350年。王国騎士団員のロイは、任務により王国の周辺にある村を訪れます。最近、野盗が出没して村人を襲うようになり、その対策のために派遣されたのです。
この出来事こそが、王国を揺るがす戦いの始まり…！ロイは、この戦いの渦に巻き込まれていくことになります。この先、ロイにどのような運命が待ち受けているのでしょうか？
